Vakumat Pumping Unit

The Vakumat is a pumping set used, amongst other things, in agriculture for pumping liquid manure into and out of barrels. The compact-designed housing includes two wear-free pumps, which are not susceptible to dry-run failures. A self-suction liquid ring pump builds up a vacuum at first; as soon as the rotary pump on the suction side is flooded the actual pumping process starts. The pipe- and valve system between both pump monitors the suction process autonomously.
